Pennies for Patients

HOSA wanted something different, somewhat of a competitive drive toward raising money for Pennies for Patients. We hosted a contest to see what teacher could collect the most money in their box. The winner would be duct taped to the wall at one of our school's pep assemblies. All of our members had a box to collect donations and each box had a teacher's picture on it. There were seven staff members altogether that volunteered.

The winner of the Pennies for Patients fundraiser was our very own vice principal. She doesn't look very thrilled, but hey, she volunteered. It was also spirit day so we had to mix a little purple and gold in there.  And since it was a pep assembly, the whole school had the pleasure of watching our vice president getting duct taped to the wall.

Overall, we raised more money than we expected which was a fulfilling experience in itself.
